Some things learned in my first 36 hours in Charlottesville:

  • Not all Walmart stores carry groceries. To get anything fresh or perishable you have to go to a "super" Walmart.
  • Though nobody has come out and said it, I must have an accent. People keep asking me to repeat myself.
  • For no reason what so ever, pasta sauce costs 30% more.
  • I've forgotten how to cook for 1.
  • Unpacking sucks

More to come, I'm sure.

Awww... I don't think I know how to cook for one anymore either. So maybe I'll cook for two and freeze the "second" for another day. I miss you so much and can't wait to see you again. I'm glad you are so happy!!
