As you may or may not be aware, the ELCA has been working on a sexuality study. The main implications surround the blessing of same sex unions and the ordination of practicing homosexuals. You can read about it here.
On Wednesday, rostered leaders of the ELCA will get a copy of the study so that they can review it before it goes out to the general public. On Thursday it will be available to everyone, likely via the above link.
I ask that you pray for the leaders of our church in this time. The study, regardless of its findings, is sure to cause controversy and discontentment within the church.
